The Royal Welsh Agricultural Show is committed to supporting members and visitors with disabilities to make their involvement with the Society and our events as enjoyable as possible.

Accessibility

Event Mobility Charitable Incorporated Organisation will be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the Royal Welsh Show

To reserve an mobility scooter or manual wheelchair you can book on line at www.eventmobility.org.uk, print out an advance booking form from the website or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you. Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone.

Toilets

Disabled toilet facilities are available in every permanent building & toilet blocks.

Disabled Ticketing Policy

The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society is committed to improving accessibility to the facilities and aim to make trips more comfortable and enjoyable for visitors with disabilities.

If a visitor has a full-time carer or attendant, that carer can have access to the event free of charge by applying in advance with supporting documentation to:

RWAS, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, Powys LD2 3SY

Please note that advance tickets will only be provided upon satisfactory proof that the attendant is a carer. No such arrangements will be available on the gate.

Car Parking

A forward parking area is available in all our park & ride carparks for visitors displaying a Blue Badge. FREE low access park & ride shuttle buses will take visitors to and from the showground between 7.30am and 9.30pm.

We also have a limited number of ‘paid for’ (£5/day) spaces for disabled visitors in a carpark adjacent to the showground. Access to this carpark will only be possible by displaying the correct parking passes, which must be purchased in advance by calling 01982 553 683.
