Bio Security & Zoonoses
The Society has adopted the motto of ‘be seen to be clean’ and asks that the public and exhibitors alike give their full co-operation.
Entry to the main parts of the cloven-hoofed livestock and poultry areas will be across disinfected mats. Please ensure your footwear is visibly clean on ENTRY TO and EXIT FROM the livestock areas.
Please make sure you wash your hands with soap and water after visiting the animal areas and before eating. The hand-washing facilities are located in all toilets around the showground. Additional external handwashing facilities will also be in place in the livestock area.
CashA cash point facility operated by Cash on the Move will be situated next to the north-west corner of the South Glamorgan Exhibition Hall.

The Chaplaincy team are available 24 hrs a day; from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm offering help and advice and from 8.00 pm to 8.00 am for urgent assistance and in case of an emergency, the contact number is: 0845 367 9990. The Chaplaincy Centre is situated in the room off the foyer in the Clwyd Glamorgan Hall. The Christian Centre for Rural Wales is situated upstairs in the Clwyd Glamorgan Hall.
Forward parking exists for visitors with disability. Only those vehicles displaying the Social Services Blue Badge permit will be given priority.
Toilets for the disabled are provided within the main toilet blocks situated near to the underpass, near Entrance A, near HSBC and adjacent to the Pig & Goat Ring. Disabled facilities are also available in the Montgomery Pavilion, South Glamorgan Exhibition Hall, International Pavilion, Members Centre and the Clwyd Glamorgan Hall.
With the exception of assistance dogs, no visitors will be permitted to enter the showground with dogs. This rule does not apply to the Royal Welsh Spring Festival and is partly exempt for the Royal Welsh Winter Fair for exhibitors entering the Hound Show.
Trade and livestock exhibitors parked within the showground who have dogs for security purposes must apply for a Society permit. Exhibitors must not exercise their dogs in public areas.
Please note that NO dogs are allowed in the Livestock (cattle, sheep, pigs and goats) Buildings, Royal Welsh Exhibition Centre, Horse Lines, Collecting Rings, Fur and Feather Pavilion, South Glamorgan Exhibition Hall, Grandstand, Members Centre, Food Hall or any of the Society’s dining halls.

Hospitality for Judges, Sponsors, Buyers and Guests will be provided in the President’s Pavilion adjacent to the Society’s Headquarters and the Cattle Ring Control Tower (ground floor)
Lost children should be escorted to the Society’s Headquarters Office if found by members of the public.
The Society advises members of the public that two persons escort the lost child. There are specific procedures in place for the return of children to their parents/carers. Details can be obtained from the Society’s Headquarters.
The Society accepts no responsibility for articles lost or stolen at the event. Reports may be made to the Headquarters Office. Reports of crime should be made to the Police.
ParkingFree parking is provided on the lower Showground, North 3 and on Horse Hill.
Photographs & Filming
Please be aware that photographs and film will be taken throughout the showground for broadcast, publicity and marketing purposes.

The public address system is installed for the relaying of official announcements. The Society will only make other announcements if it is felt to be absolutely necessary.
Railway Station Bus Service
A free mini bus passenger collection service will operate during the event from the showground and Builth Road Railway Station meeting the Heart of Wales Line trains. A 16 seater mini bus will meet the train to transport visitors to the event. The provision will be arranged by Llanwrtyd Wells Community Transport. The drop off and pick up point will be next to the Machinery Entrance toilet block between Avenues C and D. Passengers wishing to be picked up on the showground must be at the departure area 20 minutes prior to the train departure times.

Royal Welsh Show Shop
The shops have been stocked to provide a variety of interesting and attractive goods to suit exhibitors and visitors of all ages. The shops will be open each Fair day from 9.00 am until 7.00 pm on Monday and 6.00 pm on Tuesday under the Main Grandstand and in the Montgomery Pavilion (Shopping Pavilion 2). Remember to buy the new limited edition Christmas cards available in both Show shops.
The ‘main entrance’ to the Winter Fair will be through the new Welcome Centre. Here you will find toilets, a welcome café, a range of tradestands including Lansdown selling the official Royal Welsh range of clothing.
There will be free public WiFi hotspots around the main cattle ring (Hall 1), Hafod a Hendre, the Welcome Centre and in Neuadd Henllan.
