Win tickets to the Royal Welsh Show and cash or vouchers for your school

Calling all schools… are you and your pupils feeling creative? Three competitions are now open to schools across Wales and further afield for a chance to win tickets to the Royal Welsh Show along with cash or vouchers for the school.
Enter as a class, a lunchtime club, an after-school group, or as a whole school… just make sure you enter!
Forestry School Photographic Competition
This competition is open to both primary and secondary schools and this year’s theme is ‘Activities in the Woodland’. Sponsored by SEP Events, the competition has £700 worth of Currys vouchers up for grabs for the winning schools. All photograph entries need to be submitted by 5 May 2017.

Decorated Wheelbarrow Competition
This competition is open to primary schools and this year’s theme is ‘a Beatrix Potter book’. The schools will compete for a share of the £450 Mr Fothergill’s Seeds vouchers available as prizes. Entry forms need to be submitted by the end of June and the decorated wheelbarrow delivered to the showground on Sunday 23 July 2017.

Design a Christmas Card Competition
This competition is open to school pupils aged 5-14 years (split into three categories), who are asked to use their imagination and create a painting or drawing illustrating ‘what Christmas means to you’. With £495 worth of prize money on offer, the completion is sponsored by Western Power Distribution. The closing date for entries is 20 May 2017.
