The Sports Village has been organised by the Society in conjunction with Powys County Council and will feature a full programme of sports as well as tradestands.

Adventure Smart Wales

The organisation will have a stand presence and promotes the safe enjoyment of Wales’ coast and countryside; providing consistent, clear safety messages to visitors and our local communities to support the drive to get some more people active and enjoying the outdoors.
Army in Wales
The Army in Wales will be participating within the Sports arena by organising a children’s assault course and a warrior fitness challenge. Warrior fitness challenge - Contact SSgt Jonny Gray for entry and information if you are interested in participating with a team. (01446 797152). They will also have stands to promote fitness and ScoutsCymru will also be joining them on their stand organising laser shooting, caving simulator and many more activities.
Baton Twirling Organisation
National Baton Association of Wales (NBTA Cymru) are a non profit National Sporting Association, aimed at developing the sport of Baton Twirling throughout Wales and ensuring that Wales has representation at international Baton Twirling competitions going forward. The organisation will participate in the sports ring programme.

The Cardiff Blues will be selling merchandise and participating in the Sports arena programme. They will be also displaying their recently won trophy at the event.

Cricket Wales is recognised by Sports Wales and Welsh Government as the National Governing Body for cricket in Wales. They exist to lead, inspire and influence the growth, quality and accessibility of cricket in Wales. They are made up of many different cricket organisations from across the length and breadth of Wales, all sharing a passion for cricket. Their organisation will bring an inflatable cricket net for children to “have a go”.

Organise children’s dance workshops and will be participating in the sports ring programme.

The Scarlets team will be holding various rugby drills for children of all ages. They will also have an inflatable obstacle course and merchandise gazebo.
The organisation will have a stand presence with the Army in Wales and will be organising many activities for children.
Tennis Wales
Tennis Wales will be bringing Tennis for all; an inclusive mini tennis activity. We also have an inflatable for improving speed of serve and target hitting activities.
Urdd Gobaith Cymru
The Urdd will be organising a number of different activities at the Royal Welsh Show, including trampolining.
